Upholstered and Leather Furniture
Bob Mills Furniture will repair springs (that are broken or pulled loss), frame, seams, or any foam in cushions that have lost resiliency. Upholstered fabrics are not guaranteed against wearability, color-fastness, shrinking or tearing. Bob Mills Furniture can assume no responsibility for replacement of fabric or leather on furniture.
Bedroom, Dining Room, and Dinette Furniture
Bob Mills Furniture will make repairs on defects in materials or workmanship for 12 months excluding finishes.
Bedding
All Bedding carries a warranty from the manufacturer. The manufacturers’ warranty coverage varies with the quality of the bedding. All manufacturers’ warranties are fulfilled to the original purchaser on all bedding purchased in sets. Body impressions are not considered a manufacturer’s defect. Due to sanitary issues, bedding is a non-refundable item.
Transportation
Customers needing assistance from the customer service department, who picked up their purchase from the Bob Mills furniture warehouse, need only to return the item back to the store for assistance, as directed by the customer service department. In-home service is available in the metro area for a transportation fee of $39.95. In-home service outside the metro area is also available, with a charge as quoted by the customer service department.
Labor
Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. Is happy to provide all labor required for the first 12 Months, free of charge in connection with warranty work. After one year, Bob Mills Furniture is happy to make necessary repairs at the rate of $35.00 per hour.
Return Policy
Any regular items ("As-Is" items, accessories, rugs, bedding & lamps are excluded) purchased from Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. may be returned within 5 days of delivery for a purchase refund, unless other wise indicated on the merchandise ticket, less a 10% restocking charge, normal delivery and fabric protection charges. After 5 days Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. is unable to allow merchandise to be returned. Merchandise being returned must be in “like new” condition in the sole opinion of the customer service department of Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. Refunds are issued by check on every Friday (excluding holidays). To insure proper time for the accounting department. Returns must be entered before Wednesday at noon to be issued that same Friday. Payments by check must wait 10 business days for the check to clear before a refund can be entered.
Short Term Layaway
Bob mills Furniture Co., Inc. allows for a short-term layaway on “stock” merchandise only. Advertised, accessories, discontinued, and “As-Is” Merchandise are not eligible for short-term layaway. If a customer decides to take advantage of a short-term layaway they agree to a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the sale price. The balance is due within 30 days of the initial deposit. If the layaway is canceled by the customer at any time for any reason, Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. is entitled to retain all of the deposit. The amount specified above are not penalties, but represent liquidated damages due to the impossibility of ascertaining storage cost and lost sales resulting to Bob Mills Furniture Co., Inc. due to the merchandise being in layaway.
